Breaks Interstate Park is located on the Kentucky/Virginia border. It is known as the “Grand Canyon of The South,” because it is the deepest gorge east of the Mississippi with the beautiful Russell Fork River flowing though. Breaks Interstate Park is a natural haven nestled in the heart of the Appalachia Mountains.

When you arrive on Friday, you’ll be captivated by the park’s amenities. The Chafin Lodge, overlooking the roaring white water Russell Fork River, will be the center of everything for the event weekend -- starting with sign-in. There will be cash bars and exceptional catering provided by park staff.

Lodging options include rooms at the lodge, cabins on the water, RV camping and tent camping.

After a little R&R on Friday night, you’ll wake to breakfast on Saturday morning. After a good meal, you can select from multiple street or adventure routes to enjoy on two wheels. Famous area roads within short distance of the park include “Back of The Dragon” and “The Dragon Slayer.”

If you seek time off of the bike, the park offers plenty of activities. Kayaking, hiking to ziplining name a few -- even an elk tour arranged by the park rangers on Friday afternoon.

Lodging:

The incredible Breaks Interstate Park will be the base of operations for the event.

All lodging has been blocked out for our guests. However, it’s available on a first come, first served basis. Call the park directly at 276-865-4413 and speak to front desk to make reservations. You will need to provide them the event code of “BMW26” to book and receive a 20% discount on lodge rooms. If you visit the park’s website, the property will show sold out for the weekend. You must call. The same is true for RV camping spots and tent camping spots.

All camping and lodging options are within easy walking distance of the Chafin Lodge. The park's campground has a limited number of pull-through spaces and plenty of back-in spaces. It has a limited number of spaces that can accommodate RV up to a maximum of 45'. The park also has a space to park trailers, if a guest has a large RV and trailer that is more that 45'. The park has a lot of additional spaces less than the 45' length for RV and plenty of tent camping space as well.
